Got Books Fundraiser

The Billerica Parent Advisory Council is proud to announce our new recycling fundraiser in partnership with each of the Billerica school PTOs. We have ten drop-off containers (look for the bright purple bins) located at each of the Billerica Public Schools.

Many families have a lot of books, video tapes (VHS or DVD), and other items that they are looking to get rid of. This is a great chance for them to clean up their homes and keep many of these items out of landfills.

With our conveniently located containers schools, residents, businesses and civic groups can drop off the following items: hardcover and paperback books (new and old), textbooks, children’s and adult books, both fiction and non-fiction.

In addition to books, we also are happy to accept video VHS tapes or DVDs, computer game CDs, and audio books. The only exceptions are encyclopedias or magazines. The money raised will go to each of the schools’ PTOs and to the Parent Advisory Council.

The book drops are in place now and throughout the spring, summer and fall. So remember if you are cleaning out your home or office, do not toss these items in the trash. Recycle them instead! For more information please call our contact person, Donna, at (978) 667-0652.
